Recreate a Room
February 2024
Drawing created for my Drawing II: Composition and Media class. The prompt was to create a drawing of a room we could no longer return to. For this project, I chose my old childhood bedroom, which had painted planes flying all around. I wanted the planes to look as if they were flying off the page to symbolize growing up and letting go, as I had to say goodbye to this room when I grew up. This drawing was made using graphite on a size 22" x 30" rag paper.
