Shift Mag. Fashion Publication

For my FASM 419 - Current Trends and Forecasting class, we had 8 weeks to create our own publication. From initial concept creation to creating the brand's voice and visual identity to designing the magazine and finally printing our finished magazine. And so, Shift Mag. was born, our slow living lifestyle and fashion publication that focused on being intentional with what you do and what you buy, speaking to those that wish to detox from the fast paced world today. This project really challenged me as a creative, but also helped teach me a lot and made me push myself beyond what I thought I was capable of doing.

Discover below the pages I designed for our magazine. I co-developed the original concept and vision for Shift Mag., contributing to magazine naming, brand identity, and visual standards across all platforms for our class project. Also, I collaborated on photo shoot concept development and captured behind-the-scenes photography and videography for all shoots. I authored 3 original articles and designed 12 pages and spreads, maintaining a cohesive aesthetic throughout the publication. Then I developed and launched a website for the publication, creating a digital presence and a user interface. Finally, I managed print production workflow and created an interactive digital flip book for accessible online viewing.
